Players have the option to obtain subscription time via the AH for gold, or make some extra gold by purchasing tokens for money and selling them on the AH. As many players are aware, there are certain limits in place regarding How many WoW Tokens can be purchased per Battle.net account, both from the in-game Shop and through the Auction House. The second item is purchased by other players using gold, is also immediately bound to the purchasing character, and can only be redeemed for 30 days of game time or for $15 USD / €13 EUR / £10 GBP Blizzard Balance. The WoW Token allows players to buy game time with gold in-game, or buy game time with real money and sell that game time via a token for gold in-game.

Select your BNB Chain as the payment and select the WOW-token as the coin you want to acquire. Connect your TrustWallet wallet to the DEX you want to use by using your wallet address from Step 2. Character services like realm and faction transfer. The WoW Token costs $20 on US servers and €20 on EU servers.

Likewise, if any character is holding a Token purchased from the Auction House, that player will not be able to purchase a Token from the in-game Shop. If you are happy with the price, click the “Create Auction” button.

You’ll find the current token price for each region at the top of this page. The prices change approximately every 5-10 minutes, and changes based on supply and demand.

Wait until the earliest of those 10 has “aged out,” and you can buy another one. If you don’t have a token, you can buy one from the character selection screen. We’ll announce additional regional details closer to the launch of the WoW Token in other regions. You are sent the amount of gold promised to you in the confirmation window. If the price of the token has gone up or down since you listed it, that does not affect the amount of gold you will get. A confirmation window will pop up stating the exact gold price, that your Token can’t be refunded, and that the auction cannot be cancelled.

30 days of subscription time is acquired with gold by purchasing a token from the “WoW Token” section on the AH, and then exchanging that token for game time. Lapsed accounts with enough gold can reactivate accounts via the “Reactivate via Gold” option on the character select screen. WoW Tokens provides a more fluid way for players to obtain subscription time, Battle.net balance, and gold.

This only affected token sales and did not disable WoW Tokens that were already in players’ inventories. Once you buy your BNB Chain, go to your Binance wallet section and look for the BNB Chain you purchased. Click on withdraw and fill up the required information. We’ve heard feedback from players that they’d be interested in a secure, legitimate way to acquire gold that doesn’t involve the use of unauthorized third-party gold-selling services—one of the primary sources of account compromises. We also know players who’ve amassed large amounts of gold through regular play would be interested in the ability to trade some to other players in exchange for game time, helping cover their subscription costs. There’s no deposit, and the Auction House does not take a cut of the gold for WoW Token sales. The standard deposit is designed to dissuade players from spamming the auction house with items that aren’t selling, and the standard cut is designed to dissuade players from buying and reselling items for minuscule markups. Please log in or register an account to add your comment. Using World of Warcrafts’s default auction interface you should have no problem posting a wow token. You can use a token directly from your bags in-game, but you most likely knew this already.

Since I have no active account, I can’t log in and collect the money on one character. Extra gold is obtained by purchasing WoW Token via the in-game shop for cash ($20 USD/$25 AUD/20 EUR) and then selling it on the WoW Token Auction House. Screenshots containing UI elements are generally declined on sight, the same goes for screenshots from the modelviewer or character selection screen. Looks like maximum Battle.Net balance is at or near $345 currently. I bought a ton of Wow Tokens (thank you garrison cash machine!), and at $345 got the can’t-add-more message.

Introducing the WoW Token

Players will be able to purchase a WoW Token through the in-game Shop for real money, and then sell it on the Auction House for gold at the current market price. When a player buys a WoW Token from the Auction House for gold, the Token becomes Soulbound, and the player can then redeem it for 30 days of game time. The WOW token now means that in game gold has actual worth in U.S. dollars, so when will the government step in and start regulating this market?

We know a lot of you are excited to exchange a WoW Token or two, and we’re looking forward to making the feature available in the near future. We’ll provide additional updates on the rollout of the WoW Token feature soon. Players can use the WoW Token item to redeem it for 30 days of game time, consuming the Token. If the player’s account is currently inactive, they can redeem a Token through the character select screen. If the player does not possess any Tokens, they can purchase one directly from the character select screen for the current market price, with the gold deducted evenly from all characters on the selected server.

This Token may not be traded or redeemed; it may only be listed for sale on the Auction House. You may not buy a WoW token with gold, and then re-sell it for gold. You may only add currency to your Blizzard balance, or use it for 30 days of game time. You may use a WoW token to add 30 days of game time to your subscription.

It should be noted that tokens are a special item and can only reside in your backpack. WoW Tokens are part of a special region-wide Auction House. Everything else for sale on the AH is server-wide. This means that anyone on a US server can purchase your WoW Token if you list it from a US realm.

Players may hold a maximum of 10 Tokens in their inventory at one time. This limit is shared across all characters on the Battle.net account. It was temporarily disabled on January 24, 2017 in the Americas, Oceanic, and European regions due to technical issues.
